La Justicia rusa condenó a una enfermera a 4 años de cárcel por infectar a más de 70 personas con hepatitis C y VIHal no respetar las normas sanitarias, informaron este lunes medios locales.
Una enfermera de un centro sanitario privado en la región de Kabardino-Balkaria, en el Cáucaso, fue condenada a cuatro años de prisión por “violación de las normas sanitarias” e “infectar a personas con VIH debido al desempeño indebido de sus funciones profesionales”, informó RIA Nóvosti.
Según el medio ruso, el director del centro y otro médico también fueron acusados, pero sus casos fueron desestimados.
Según la investigación, entre septiembre de 2022 y noviembre de 2023, por no esterelizar debidamente el equipo médico, 71 personas contrajeron hepatitis C y otras cinco se infectaron por VIH.
Además, la enfermera reutilizaba reiteradamente el material desechable.
El hecho ocurrió en una clínica Medis, cuya licencia ya ha sido revocada, en Nálchik, capital de la región
